We have designed a scheme that saves you money on your bathroom installation, and creates a plumber at the same time.

What is Friends of Stopcocks?
To become fully qualified, a student needs to be working alongside an experienced plumber and have her work assessed in real situations.
For many reasons female trainees are unable to find the placements they need and this is where many of them ‘leak’ back out of the system and often give up on their dream to become plumbers.
At Stopcocks we are tackling this situation head on by providing trainees internships with qualified and experienced plumbers in order to gain experience and confidence.
We are able to offer a unique solution whereby your bathroom is installed at a very competitive rate by a fully qualified female plumber and her interns.
This way the interns complete their qualification, you get a great job done and end up with a reliable female plumber for life to boot.
Who can become a Friend?
You can benefit from the Friends of Stopcocks scheme if you are having a complete bathroom refurbishment.
This includes (Minimum requirement, but we can do pretty well anything)
- Removal of existing suite
- Supply and fit new suite (min 3 pieces)
- Removal of tiles/re-tiling
- Floor covering (vinyl, tiles laminate)
The service includes full consultation, and design with YOUR wishes in mind (there is a small fee for this which is fully refundable when work is complete). All work is carried out to the highest specifications.
